I understand the EV form must be filled out to get a quote, but what happens next?

Our quick get started form has all the information needed to deliver an accurate recommendation and quote. Normally, once you fill out the form, I will respond with an email with a couple of additional questions. Then I can get your quote to you by that evening. If you do not see it, please check your junk or spam folder. Standard installation is within a couple of days. The exception is if we have just completed installs in your area, then the wait time will be about a week. Any installations not ready within a week will be reviewed and adjusted to the current copper prices for that week. This is due to the volatile nature of the price of wiring, which has been steadily increasing for the past two years. Occasionally, we may be doing an install in your area and will make every effort to evaluate your unique setup as quickly as possible.

Once you have completed the get started form, the install will be completed quickly. In fact, nearly half of our installations are done within 2 days. We know that the most valuable thing you have is your time, so we never waste it. Unless you electrical panel is full and needs to be modified the power stays on during the installation.

I invested in RCEV installing a Level 2 charger. How much does it actually cost to charge my car?

So we really, really hate saying this, but….it depends. Fret not, we did the math for the averages for you below. This will at least get you in the ballpark of what to expect. However, there are dozens of variables that go into your number. Some of the most important include, where you live, when you choose to charge, how fast you charge, source of the electricity you use, and on and on and on.

However, if you are the ultimate average American, paying 15 cents per kwh of electricity, and own the average electric vehicle which gets 3.5 miles per kwh, and drive the average 1,183 miles every month, then you will end up using right about 350 kwh, costing you the average 52 and a half bucks to charge your EV at home.

What tax, rebate, or reimbursement incentives do I qualify for?

The financial incentives for EV ownership and installations of home chargers depends entirely on where you live. There will be different incentives based on the state, city, and even zip code in which you live, what utility company you use, what type of vehicle you purchased, which charger you choose to install, and more. As such, it is nearly impossible to stay current on every incentive. However, we can point you in the right direction. Most reputable EV dealerships are excellent resources on current local and municipal incentives.
